Dear Parents, Staff, and Families of SAU 90:
Our Hampton Academy teams are gearing up for their spring sports. Over 200 students will be participating in softball, baseball, and track and field. There is certainly a high level of energy, enthusiasm, and spirit on the fields during these spring days. Now, if only the warm, sunny weather would arrive… Go Sharks!
It has been a very exciting week across the district as I have been spending time at events and classrooms. Winnacunnet High School hosted the SAU 21 & 90 Band and Choral Festival Concert. Band and chorus members from Hampton Academy, Lincoln Akerman School, North Hampton School, Seabrook Middle School, and Winnacunnet High School came together in song and harmony for a wonderful evening!
Marston School hosted their annual Variety Show. What a fantastic evening for our community as students delighted us with their humor, talent, and stage presence. It certainly was a proud night for all who attended. Special thanks to everyone who made this evening wonderful.
As we move into the final marking term, it is important to review First Student expectations for riding the bus:
Follow the driver’s instructions.
Do not eat, drink, or smoke on the bus.
Keep all harmful materials, (drugs, tobacco, alcohol, weapons, etc.) off the bus.
Keep all parts of your body and all objects to yourself, and inside the bus.
Keep the noise level down and remain seated facing forward.
Keep the aisles clear and do not litter, write on, or damage the bus.
Riding the bus is an extension of classrooms, therefore, failure to abide by bus expectations can result in loss of riding privileges. The safety of everyone is contingent upon everyone doing their part.
Commissioner Davis’ letter explains the purpose of statewide assessments, how the results are used, and how families can support their students and schools doing their best. She respectfully requests that you review this information. Encouraging students to take these assessments seriously helps ensure we have accurate meaningful data to support students and schools.
Warmly,
Dr. Lois B. Costa
Superintendent
