Superintendent Weekly Newsletter

February 6, 2026

Dear SAU 90 Staff and Families,

This week, we celebrated our 100th day of school! Students at Centre and Marston Schools marked the milestone with parades, spirit days, and lessons that brought much-needed joy and humor to our busy hallways.

While we remain mindful of the stress caused by current global events, our district is committed to supporting both the academic and social-emotional needs of our students. We encourage you to keep lines of communication open; our counselors, psychologists, and outreach workers are always here for your families.

My favorite moments this week were spent at Centre School. I saw students in groundhog crowns engaged in science, witnessed incredible progress in our "littles’" reading and writing, and celebrated School Counselors Week. It is clear that our students and staff have built a happy, thriving community of learners.

Finally, I am thrilled to share that Hampton has been chosen as one of ten Key Community Partners with Reaching Higher New Hampshire. This nonpartisan partnership will amplify the voices of our citizens to help shape the future of public education. This is an opportunity for Hampton citizens to have their voices amplified, data represented, and their stories told.  Stay tuned for more information.

Wishing you a great weekend ahead!  Go Patriots!

Warmly,

Dr. Lois B. Costa

Superintendent of SAU 90
