Dear Parents, Staff, and Families of SAU 90,
Winnacunnet High School’s Lookup Club is hosting a community viewing of Screenagers Next Chapter on April 16. The purpose of the event is to promote the balanced use of technology and social media in the digital age. The movie is appropriate for students and their families to attend, grade six and older. The event is free and more information can be found here.
Exeter Seacoast School of Technology is hosting Camp Invention for the first time this summer. We know how popular this offering is at Marston School, and perhaps you might have missed the opportunity to sign up. The camps are operating the same week, and registration at Seacoast School of Technology is open.
The PTA meets the third Tuesday of the month at Hampton Academy in the Community Room at 5:00 PM. These meetings last approximately an hour and are informative, productive opportunities for collaboration between our families and schools. At this time, there are many open positions that will need to be filled for next year. We hope you will consider these critical postings and support this wonderful organization which benefits our students and schools. The next PTA Meeting is on April 14 at 5:00 PM in the Community Room.
We know this has been a very challenging week for many people in our community. As a tight-knit town, our strength is our greatest source of comfort. I encourage everyone to lean on one another. Please know that it is okay to not be okay, and it is okay to ask for help. Our district’s mental health team and counselors are available to support students and families. As we move forward, let us hold onto hope. Hope for healing, hope in our collective resilience, and hope in the bright future we are building together, even when the path is difficult. Please take care of yourselves and each other.
Warmly,
Dr. Lois B. Costa
