Dear Parents, Staff, and Families of SAU 90:
On Tuesday the Hampton voters passed all warrant articles related to the school district. We are thankful for the support from our community and appreciate the affirmation of support with our schools, children, and staff. We welcome the opportunity to work with all stakeholders and constituents on behalf of our students. Please be sure to contact us with questions or concerns.
As a friendly reminder cellphones, smart watches, and other communication devices are not allowed in schools as noted in Policy JICJ. The policy specifically states, "Student use of cell phones, camera phones, pagers, beepers, and other similar electronic communication devices is strictly prohibited during the school day. This includes lunch periods and passing periods, as well as on school sponsored trips. Such devices are to be kept in a student’s assigned locker with the power turned off." Also, this policy states the following: "The Hampton School Districts recognizes that many students carry personal cell phones for safety reasons. Students are expected to turn off their cellphones and secure them in their lockers or backpacks during the school day. If a family member needs to contact their student during the school day, please contact the school’s main office rather than texting their cell phone." We thank you for your attention to this matter.
On March 23 report cards will be made available through the parent portal at 4pm. Should you need assistance logging in or accessing ALMA, please be sure to reach out to our Data Specialist, Ms. Julia Pallazola. She can be reached at 603-926-2000 x723 or jpallazola@sau90.org. On March 19, parents will have the opportunity to meet with classroom teachers and staff to discuss their child’s progress. We look forward to these conversations and partnering with families on their child’s educational progress. Please remember that this is an early release day for students.
The School Board meets at 6:00 PM on March 17 at Hampton Academy.
Wishing you a fantastic weekend ahead!
Warmly,
Dr Lois B. Costa
Superintendent
