Dear SAU 90 Staff and Families,

Happy New Year!  I hope that everyone had a fantastic holiday and connected with families and friends by sharing good tidings, comfort, and joy.

We recognize that family circumstances can change.  Should you request assistance with food insecurity, please complete the Application for Free/Reduced School Lunch.  This form also supports school funding, including Title I, and your participation in completing this form helps us to secure such funding.

In the coming weeks, our students will participate in mid-term assessments.  At Marston School and Hampton Academy, students are participating in the winter STAR assessments in reading and math.  At Centre School, students will be participating in formative assessments that monitor their progress in math and literacy skills.  This information is used to guide instructional practices, groupings, and progress.

Do you know of a teacher or colleague that stands out?  Please consider nominating them for Teacher of the Year!  Each year, New Hampshire schools take part in the State and National Teacher of the Year program.  Anyone can nominate an outstanding teacher by using this link on or before January 26. Several past nominees from our district include Mrs. Kimberly Reno, Mrs. Amy Murphy, Ms. Julie Elwood, Ms. Michaela Lemire, and Ms. Samantha Lyford.

In our efforts to keep you informed, we will be including the school board agenda the Friday before each meeting.  The YouTube recording will be shared the following Friday.

We are looking for a part time accountant for special education with a start date of January 19, 2026.  This a 25 hour a week position, with flexibility during the week and summers. Mrs. Kimberly Bryant, who has served in the role for the past eight years, will be joining her husband in their business venture.  We have thoroughly enjoyed having Mrs. Bryant in our district, and her work has been commended at the state level.  We will miss her and wish her all the best in her future endeavors. A link to apply can be found here for your convenience.

Cheers to 2026!
