Dear SAU 90 Staff and Families,
It’s the most wonderful time of the year!
Hampton Holiday Parade: Tomorrow, December 6 (rain or shine)
SAU 90 staff, students, and families are invited to join. Assembly is at 12:30 PM at the Ginger and Clove parking lot on 881 Lafayette Road. Wear your Hawaiian shirts and leis to celebrate the theme of “Aloha Hampton”.
The parade starts at 1:00 PM sharp.
School Closure Procedures Review
The Superintendent reviews procedures for determining school closures, understanding that decisions are taken very seriously due to their impact on families.
Decision Process:
Superintendents typically meet with the state’s emergency department before a storm to understand the expected impact and travel conditions.
Prior to and on the day of the storm, Superintendents speak with First Student, Police/Fire and Facilities, to assess road conditions, buses, and school grounds.
Around 4:00 AM, area Superintendents hold a conference call to make decisions for their districts.
Parents will be notified through the school’s messaging system if school is delayed or closed. Please ensure the school has updated contact information on file by contacting your school for any changes.
Assistance Available for the Holidays
Thank you for the donations made to troops, families, eighth graders, and students.
If you or your family needs assistance during the holiday season, please contact the Outreach Worker, Emily Fixler at 603-926-2000 or 603-858-9810.
See you at the parade!
With Hampton PRIDE,
Dr. Lois B. Costa
