Dear SAU 90 Staff and Families,
Community Events and Safety
Trunk-or-Treat Success: Last Saturday, the Hampton PTA hosted a fantastic Trunk-or-Treat at Marston School. We extend special thanks to all the families, staff, and community members whose partnership made this fun family program possible.
Tonight's Trick-or-Treating: Please remember that trick-or-treating in Hampton is scheduled for this evening, October 31, from 5:30 – 8:00 PM. Our School Resource Officers (SROs) have reviewed Halloween Safety with our students.
School News and Recognition
"Grab and Go" Breakfast: In partnership with NH Hunger Solutions, we are working to ensure all students start their day with a healthy breakfast. A “grab and go” breakfast is now available to all students regardless of arrival time, even “after the bell”, to make sure it is accessible. Families are encouraged to apply through the Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application given any change in status, such as the government shutdown or temporary need.
Top Performing Schools Recognition: We are pleased to announce that on October 28, Marston School and Hampton Academy were recognized as top performing schools in the state.
Marston School ranks 29th out of 443 elementary schools, placing it in the top 7 percent.
Hampton Academy ranks 13th out of 270 middle schools, placing it in the top 5 percent.
While Centre School is not included in these state rankings as its students do not participate in state testing, this recognition is a testament to the great start our students receive. Congratulations to our entire community!
Important Reminder
We also encourage you to check out this opportunity from Winnacunnet High School.
Wishing you a safe and happy Halloween!
Dr. Lois Costa, Superintendent of Schools
