Dear SAU 90 Families and Staff,
As we move further into the academic year, I want to share key updates on community activities and important operational assurances.
Important District Updates & Initiatives
Free & Reduced-Price Meals: We have received assurance from Commissioner Caitlin Davis that, despite the federal government shutdown uncertainty, there will be no disruption to the U.S. Department of Agriculture's provision of free and reduced-price meals for eligible students. We encourage any family who believes they may qualify to submit a Free and Reduced-Price Meal Application.
New Leadership Club: We are pleased to announce a partnership with the Hampton Rotary to launch the Interact Club at Hampton Academy. This leadership group will emphasize the Rotary value of Service Above Self. Congratulations to Mr. Doherty and Mrs. Tombarelli for leading this valuable new initiative.
Upcoming Community Events
Trunk or Treat: The Hampton PTA's Trunk or Treat event is tomorrow, October 25th, from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Marston Way. We encourage you to support the PTA by becoming a member. They meet on the second Tuesday of the month at 5:00 PM in the Hampton Academy Community Room.
Community Read: Join us for the first session of our Community Read with the Lane Library on Monday, November 4th, from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in the Hampton Academy Cafeteria. We still have copies of Mel Robbins’ Let Them. To request a copy, please email eallen@sau90.org.
