Dear SAU 90 Staff and Families,

Happy first Friday of the school year! As we head into the Hampton Seafood Festival weekend, please keep in mind there will be heavier traffic, and possible bus delays this afternoon. Thank you for your patience and for reminding students to be extra cautious.

I’m also delighted to introduce three new members of our SAU 90 team:

  • Erin Allen, Administrative Assistant – Erin recently moved from Melrose, MA, where she served as administrative assistant in Winchester. She will be the friendly face greeting visitors at the SAU Office and will oversee office operations, onboarding new staff, and supporting policy updates. Erin and her family—Ben, Mason, and Parker—are excited to join the Hampton community.

  • Deena Jensen, Pupil Services Director – Deena comes to us from North Hampton School with extensive experience in special education and school psychology. She is active in the NH Association of Special Education Administrators and mentors colleagues statewide. Deena and her partner live in Durham, and she recently completed the Berlin Marathon!

  • Tim Smith, Technology Director – Tim has been with SAU 90 since 2021, most recently serving as our data manager. He played a key role in our transition from PowerSchool to ALMA and is helping shape our district’s use of AI. Tim previously worked in healthcare and education technology, and he and his family live in Dover.

You’ll have the chance to meet all our new professional staff at next Tuesday’s School Board meeting. Please join me in giving them a warm welcome to SAU 90.

Wishing you a wonderful weekend—and I hope to see you at the Seafood Festival!

Warmly,

Dr. Lois Costa
Superintendent, SAU 90
