Hampton, NH (July 12, 2017)  –  The Hampton School Board is pleased to announce the official groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation and reconstruction of Hampton Academy.  The ceremony will take place on Monday, July 24, 2017, at 10:00 am on the grounds of the Academy.

Members of the School Board will be joined by the project management team, building committee members, and school district staff to help kick off this project. The public is invited to attend the event.

Once the groundbreaking ceremony is completed, the first phase of the project will be underway.  The sixth-grade wing and portion of the southeast end of the building including the lower gymnasium will be demolished this summer.  In its place, a new wing will be constructed to include classrooms and a new full-size gymnasium.
